Iain Brown of Custom Audio Video attended the Lutron Electronics Residential Opportunities Tour in Charlotte, NC. This event is intended to bring the latest information on new and existing Lutron products to the local Custom AV company installers, programmers and designers.

Various presenters delivered the latest information on lighting control products and systems from a simple 8 zone system to full custom systems capable of running a 10,000 square foot home and beyond; shading solutions from inexpensive manually operated shades through the new Triathlon battery operated shades to wired and wireless Sivoia QS shades and systems; Ivalo – Lutron’s own lighting fixtures as well as breaking developments in controlling LED lights since the common incandescent bulb is being phased out. The day ended with some practical system programming examples.
