Soundcast High Performance Wireless Audio

Soundcast Systems will be discussed in this blog post. We are going to be focusing on the OutCast and the UAT specifically. Custom Audio Video specializes in these amazing products.

Soundcast Systems is a producer of wireless audio transmission systems that overcome 2.4GHz band interference, and allow digital music to be listened to in stereo throughout the home.

OutCast

The OutCast is SoundCast Systems flagship product and perhaps the most well known of all their products. It is an all weather outdoor speaker featuring an eight inch downward firing woofer and four three inch high-frequency drivers. Soundcast claims the OutCast has a wireless range of up to 350 feet.

UAT

The UAT (Universal Audio Transmitter) is a wireless bridge which allows wireless control over common media players such as iTunes, Pandora Radio, and Windows Media Player. The wireless range is reported to be up to 350 feet.

Sonos Multi-Room Music System overview:

The Sonos Multi-Room Music System creates multi-room audio hi-fi in which different zones may play the same or different songs simultaneously throughout the house.

The company tagline is “All the music you want. All over your house. All from the palm of your hand.”

The system is controlled by the Sonos Controller, a wireless handheld remote equipped with a color LCD screen that controls music streaming and zone selection.
